President's MessageJennifer Wilson, National ESP PresidentGreetings Epsilon Sigma Phi Members, It was fantastic to see so many of you in beautiful Virginia Beach at our 2024 National ESP Conference. It was great to gather with colleagues, connect with new members, and explore innovative ideas. This year, we welcomed a record number of first-time attendees, underscoring the growing appeal and impact of our organization. The sessions, workshops, and keynote speakers provided valuable insights. Each of our speakers shared how extension has impacted their lives and inspired me to continue to make a difference in the lives of those I serve. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make conference a success, especially our dedicated volunteers, committee members, sponsors and staff. As the calendar quickly rolls toward 2025, I’m excited to share some of our key goals for the upcoming year. First, we will continue to explore a new membership management system designed to streamline our operations and improve the experience for our members. This system will support our evolving needs and strengthen member engagement. We’re also preparing to transition our pilot treasurer position into a permanent role, ensuring we continue to manage our finances with transparency and efficiency. The responsibilities of this role are now available on the national website. Please take a look and consider applying for this position. Click Here for Treasurer Position Details and Application In addition, diversifying our revenue streams is a priority for the coming year. This includes exploring new opportunities for financial growth to support our programs, endowments, and operational needs. We’re committed to enhancing the value of ESP membership through expanded professional development opportunities, resources, and community-building activities to meet the needs of our diverse membership. Finally, our 100th anniversary in 2027 is fast approaching, and we’re beginning preparations to celebrate this remarkable milestone. It’s an exciting time for Epsilon Sigma Phi, and I look forward to working together to achieve these goals and position our society for continued success. Thank you for your commitment to ESP and for all you do to advance our mission. Warm regards, Jennifer Wilson President, Epsilon Sigma Phi |
